I’m in a bit of a dilemma with my 2019 Range Rover Autobiography. The front pads are down to about 3mm and I’ve been getting quotes all over the place – the dealer wants a small fortune, but some independent shops are offering pads for half that price. The thing is, I’ve had bad experiences with cheap pads before on a different car where they faded really fast during emergency stops and made this embarrassing squealing noise at every traffic light. So I’m leaning towards spending more for genuine Land Rover parts or at least a high-quality brand like Brembo. A friend who drives a Sport told me he found a place that offers Reliable Range Rover Brake Pad Dubai service using original-spec materials without the dealership markup. Has anyone here tried mixing brands, like OEM pads on the front and aftermarket on the rear? Or should I just bite the bullet and go all original? I don’t mind paying for safety, but I also don’t want to get ripped off just because of the badge on the tailgate. Any honest recommendations around Al Quoz or Sheikh Zayed Road area would be awesome.
